i'm poor so poor
Yes Kimmie the guy that runs the blog I mentioned in the previous entry must be rich. Which brings me to my next... problem... I'm poor so poor. First day back at uni was just fine. But once I get home it sinks in, this time last year was heaven compared to the workload I now face. 2 days later I'm still depressed. Now that I think about it I think I've been complaining to any friend I've come in contact with since uni started again. I'd like to take this opportunity to say sorry for my need to bitch about everything. I'm sounding like a retarded drama queen. Fuck I sound sad. Oh in case you were wondering how 'poor = the beginning of uni' here is my little list.
THE LIST
* A hundred dollar textbooks (I'm rounding off here, so take a few dollars off)
* Further $80 - required for access to materials for my course
* Transport to and from uni (I refuse to walk)
* French Film Festival (not a uni requirement, but something I feel is necessary)
Add on top of that there is the usual cost of going out, birthdays and more birthdays, and the realisation that most of my clothes aren't appropriate for clinic so future clothes shopping will have to consist of more suitable items of clothing.
Hee hee I feel better now that I've gotten that out of my system. Ofcourse a day from now if I check this blog I'll probably want to delete this entry. It's embarassing to have evidence of yourself whining about shit that really isn't such a big problem. Uni - I'll get over the start of semester blues. Finance - isn't so bad that I can't go to the French Film Festival more than once, though gigs are out of the question at the moment.
So that's it. That's my life. And did I mention that my timetable is crap?

i agree finance does suck... but i still think that your course doesn't rely on too many financing compared to mine. Even though we don't have textbooks there are still readers but i guess they're not that bad but then if you compare it to the materials we need as well as the printing and producing costs of everything AND we need to handle it ourselves... that's what i call expensive and sometimes it suck real bad when the one you're printing is actually just a draught =__= or even close to your final choice but in the end the tutor says "mmm... maybe you can work on it more" +__+
